How it works
Search the AMC theaters Filmi covers, star your favorites, then choose a day and a showtime from the next two weeks or the full calendar.
The seat map shows what's taken. Tap the seats you wish you had, and they turn gold. Wheelchair spaces and companion seats can be watched like any other seat.
Filmi checks your seats every 3 to 5 minutes and sends a push when one frees up. Book on AMC opens AMC's own seat map for that showtime, and you book there.

When seats open, the alert moves to the top of Home, marked Available, and stays there until you decide. Nothing fires twice for seats you've already been told about.
Ticket log
Search a movie and Filmi fills in the details. You add the date, theater, format, your seats, a seat rating and what the ticket cost.
Movie data and images from
A-List savings
Filmi adds up what your tickets would have cost at face value and takes out the A-List fee. The total is green when you saved and red when it cost you.
Insights
Hours in the dark, top genres, the screens you pick, and the seat you keep going back to. The Savings view adds a running total and the day your membership broke even.
Appearance
Filmi follows your phone, or stays light or dark if you'd rather. This page runs on the app's own switch, so go ahead.

Coverage
If your theater isn't covered yet, search says so and points you to AMC instead.
Free and private
Everything in Filmi is free. There's a tip jar if it lands you better seats, and tipping unlocks nothing.
Open the app and watch your first seats. An account is optional, and you can add one later without losing anything.
Alerts arrive as push notifications, never email or SMS, and only after you turn them on. Quiet hours keep them out of your night.
Delete your data from Profile whenever you like. It takes your alerts, presets and ticket log with it, for good.

189 AMC theaters in the ten largest US metros: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, DC, Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Houston and Miami. Filmi doesn't cover every AMC yet, or theaters outside the US.
Yes. There's no paid tier, no ads and nothing locked behind a paywall. Profile has a tip jar, and tipping doesn't unlock anything.
Not yet. Filmi is for iPhone only. Its beta is coming soon. It's in beta through TestFlight, and isn't on the public App Store yet. Android is coming later.

Every 3 to 5 minutes, up until the showtime starts. Alerts clear themselves shortly after the movie begins.
No. Filmi tells you when a seat opens and hands you off: Book on AMC opens AMC's seat map for that showtime, and you book with AMC as usual.
No. You can watch seats and log tickets without one. Creating an account with a verified email raises the limits, from 5 active alerts to 25 and from 1 favorite theater and saved seat map to 10 of each, and lets you sign in on another device.
